Which of the following sentences correctly employs the word unveil ?
This is the correct use of "unveil". To "unveil" artwork means to "show" or "display" it to the public for the first time. The root of the word "unveil" is "veil", which can be used as both a noun and a verb.
"Unveil" is not synonymous with "double checking" or "verifying". This choice is incorrect.
We cannot use "unveil" in a construction such as this. One cannot "unveil" something from something else. A more appropriate choice for this sentence would be "removed".
Although "to unveil" does carry the sense of "uncovering" or "removing" something, it cannot be used a synonym for "to undress". Unless Philip witnessed Susie literally removing a veil from her face, which is unlikely, this choice is incorrect. Also, "to unveil" is rarely, if ever, used in the reflexive sense.

1 bow: The nautical term "bow" refers to the front section of a boat, specifically the pointed front end. In the film Titanic, this is where Leo shouts "I'm king of the world!". Note that "bow" has several other meanings both as a noun and a verb.
2 deck: The "deck" of a boat or ship is the surface of the vessel which extends from one end of the ship to the other. The "deck" refers only to the surface on the top level of the boat, and not anything below (such as a galley or cabin) or above (such as a mast or sail). Note that the term "deck" has several other meanings both as a noun and a verb.
3 mast: A "mast" is a tall vertical pole extending from the deck (or below) which is used as a support for the sails of a ship. Larger ships have more than one mast and more than one sail.
