When I first 'met' Victor Hugo during French lessons in school in Germany I didn't pay much attention. I thought he was just another, very wise and very old man (probably due to his long, white beard). Only afterwards when I started Frantastique lessons did i really get to know him better: he supported the students, he was a pioneer in European thinking.... he throws amazing parties and really knows how to dance!
