After being defrosted by the AIGF six months ago, I had only one desire: to learn French. Every morning, sometimes in the afternoon and occasionally in the evening, I impatiently open the mail that arrives directly from the planet Frantastique. They must have a huge job up there. I love all the stories they send me and above all I love all the lovely and funny little movies, not forgetting the Dessert of the Day. Furthermore, I am very impressed with the effort they make to explain all the problems to me with a real concern for precision. The person I love the most and who has all my admiration is Murielle Petite. She really has a very interesting life and I am delighted that she is here with us on our earth. It must be a great challenge to always change between the two planets. Could she possibly visit me one day with her flying horse? It would be wonderful. When I do my exercises I always read aloud and make an effort not to stutter and ruin my accent. No one hates exaggeration more than I do but I can say that I have already made a lot of progress and I am not an idiot at all. You bet! Now in these hard times of Coronavirus it is even more important to receive a Frantastique mail every day. You have to stay and stay and stay at home. That means we have time to study and study and study French. I hope Murielle was able to save herself early and that they do not contaminate themselves up there. One more question: are there other people who have been defrosted, other than Victor Hugo, Baudelaire and me? And I hope that on the planet Frantastique they know that now is not the right time to continue with defrosting. I still have to send a warm THANK YOU to Planet Frantastique for the great work. And since I don't know exactly where this place is, I throw my thanks in the universe hoping that they arrive at the right door. Ça doit être un grand défi de changer toujours entre les deux planètes. Serait-il possible qu’elle me visite und jour avec son cheval volant ? Ça serait merveilleux. Quand je fais mes exercices je lis toujours à haute voix et je fais des efforts à ne pas zozoter et à gommer mon accent. Nul plus que moi ne déteste l’exagération mais je peux dire que j’ai déjà fait beaucoup de progrès et je ne suis pas du tout une andouille. Beau dommage! Maintenant dans ces temps durs du Coronavirus il est encore plus important de recevoir quotidiennement le courrier frantastique. Il faut rester et rester et rester à la maison. Ça veut dire qu’on a le temps d’étudier et étudier et étudier le français. J’espère bien que Murielle ait pu se sauver à bonne heure et qu’ils ne se contaminent pas là-haut. Encore une question: est-ce qu’il y a d’autres personnes qui ont été décongelés à part Victor Hugo, Baudelaire et moi ? Et j’espère bien que sur la planète Frantastique ils savent que maintenant ce n’est pas le bon moment de continuer avec la décongélation. Il me reste d’envoyer un chaleureux MERCI à la planète Frantastique pour le grand travail. Et comme je ne sais pas exactement où se trouve ce lieu je lance mes remerciements dans l’univers en espérant qu’ils arrivent à la bonne porte."
