1 feed: "To feed (a baby, an animal)" is to give it food or nourishment (such as milk, dog food, bananas, etc). In this dialogue, Philip laments that the dog in his life is another "mouth to feed", an expression which describes a person or animal which must be given food or provided for.
2 fed: The verb "to feed" is irregular: feed/fed/fed. The term "yesterday" in this sentence tells us that this is a single completed action, which requires the simple past tense. "To feed (a baby, an animal)" is to give it food or nourishment (such as milk, dog food, bananas, etc).
3 puppy: A young dog is called a "puppy". In this scene, Philip has acquired a puppy from his ex-girlfriend.
4 kitten: A "kitten" is a young cat. The term wasn't used in the dialogue, but it's a very important term to know for important business meetings and watching cute videos on the internet.
