fa freddo

:

it's cold

fa caldo

:

it's hot

Like many of the verbs we use to talk about the weather, we only use fa freddo (it's cold, literally “it does cold”) and fa caldo (it's hot, literally “it does hot”) in the lui/lei (he/she/it) form of the verb.

  • "Donna: Nella mia stanza fa tanto caldo."
