Demander que

We write demander que (to ask that), not demander Ă  ce que.
Il a demandé que l'on vienne tÎt he asked that we come early (not il a demandé à ce que l'on vienne tÎt).
Elle demande que tout le monde l’écoute she is asking that everyone listen to her (not elle demande Ă  ce que tout le monde l’écoute).
Note: In formal written French, some verbs like s’attendre (to expect), consentir (to agree to), prendre garde (to watch out for) and faire attention (to be careful, to make sure) can also be followed by que.
Il a consenti Ă  ce que je vienne/il a consenti que je vienne (formal) he agreed that I come.
Elle s’attend Ă  ce que je lui Ă©crive/elle s’attend que je lui Ă©crive (formal) she is expecting him to write to her.
Fais bien attention à ce qu’il ne vienne pas/fais bien attention qu’il ne vienne pas (formal) make sure that he doesn't come.
