"1960-1964 BA in Economics, University of Liverpool"
What does "BA" stand for?
What does "BA" stand for?
It sounds impressive, but unfortunately, a "Bond of Accounting" does not exist as a qualification!
This is correct. Paul writes in his CV that he has a "BA in Economics" which is a "Bachelor's of Arts (the type of diploma) in Economics (the specialty)". A "BA" is a university degree given in the United Kingdom that is equivalent to three or four years of study at a university. Note, a BA focuses on disciplines such as humanities, or the visual arts, whereas a "Bachelor of Science" (B.Sc. or B.S. in the US) focuses on scientific disciplines such as physics or chemistry.
The term "baccalaureate" can be used as a (much less common) synonym of university degrees such as "Bachelor or Arts" or "Bachelor of Science". However, "BA" is not an abbreviation of "baccalaureate".
"Economist" and "anarchy" are two terms that are not usually mixed! Unfortunately, this is not the correct choice!
