This statement is true. Herbert says "I'm looking for backers to help finance (the film)" meaning that he is looking for financial support for his film project. A "backer (of a film)" is a person or company that supports a film, generally financially.
This is incorrect. Herbert says he is "about to start shooting (his) latest film". "To be about to (make a film)" expresses that an action is "imminent" or coming soon. Herbert hasn't started the film production yet but is going to start it very shortly. "To shoot (a film)" is to record it.
This is incorrect. Herbert doesn't tell Bruno what his new film is about. It is a great idea for a film, though, have you got any money to make it?
Exercise 2
This term describes an investor, or someone who provides money for projects.
"We don't have much money of our own, so we're looking for a financial to get our business started."
