Exercise 1
What does "next day delivery" mean?
What does "next day delivery" mean?
This is the correct choice. If, for example, you order a product online on a Thursday and the company promises "next day delivery", you should expect a visit from your postman on the Friday! Here's another example: "If you want next day delivery, there will be an additional charge of €8".
This is not the correct choice. "Next day delivery" means it will arrive at the customer's house the next day. When something is "dispatched", it means it is "sent", but does not necessarily arrive at the customer's home.
This is not the correct choice. A "delivery" means the buyer does not have to go to the store or shop to collect what they have bought. Rather, the order is sent by post or courier to their home or office.
This is not the correct answer. "Next day delivery" has nothing to do with paying for purchases.
