Moreover, Candy can't drink milkshakes because of her "lactose intolerance". Candy seems perfect for Philip Cheeter, but not a sensitive caring soul like Icarus Quincy.
Mandy is the best choice for Icarus on this list. First of all, she is a woman. She is also a "kind" (or nice) woman as indicated by her volunteer work with ducks and old people. Mandy is also interested in literature (Proust), classical music (Beethoven), and probably milkshakes (dairy products). Mandy also builds model airplanes, which corresponds closely to Icarus' hobby of miniature ship building. Finally, Mandy enjoys Woody Allen films, which is a good sign that she has a good sense of humor. It looks like Icarus has found a match in Mandy.
Although Sandy does love ice cream and music, her tastes don't really match Icarus' interests in a companion.
