Bruno says "my political views are personal, and shouldn't leave this room".
He means:
He means:
This is not what Bruno means: he is prepared to tell Jean things, but wants these things to remain private!
This is the correct answer. Bruno is letting Jean know that his statements about politics are not to be repeated to anyone. The expression "this information must not leave this room" means that nobody should pass on the information, or tell anyone else about it.
This is incorrect. Although he says, literally, that his views themselves are confined to this room, the real meaning of this expression is that the discussion of Bruno's views should not be continued elsewhere with other people. There is no reason to suppose that Bruno has different sets of personal opinions depending on where he is.
This is not what Bruno means: he is not making a general statement about where politics should or shouldn't be discussed.
