According to Bruno's letter, what is on the agenda for the upcoming board meeting?
There may be more than one correct answer!
Excerpt: This is the last board meeting of the year, where we review last year's results, approve the budget for the upcoming year, and forecast next year's growth.
...our C.F.O Icarus Quincy will present a comprehensive financial review and breakdown of our business this year. This will be followed by our customary round-table discussion, where everyone will have a chance to go over this year's figures and talk about the direction in which the company is moving.
There may be more than one correct answer!
This is correct. Bruno writes that the people present at the board meeting will "have a chance to go over this year's figures and talk about the direction in which the company is moving." This means that the board members will discuss the future (specifically next year) of the company. Bruno also writes that there will be "a forecast of next year's growth", which refers to a prediction of next years financial prospects.
This is correct. Bruno writes that "our C.F.O Icarus Quincy will present a comprehensive financial review" this means that Icarus will give a summary or global picture of the state of Delavigne's finances over the past year. An "overview" is an outline of a situation, for example: This is just an overview of the report, later we will look at it in more detail.
This is incorrect. In the letter, there is no mention that the Delavigne Corporation is in debt. Furthermore, there is not going to be any discussion on this matter.
This is incorrect. Although Bruno writes that he will "give a little speech to introduce everyone" he does not mention that there will be any introduction of new shareholders. Bruno means that he will introduce those present at the meeting (Icarus, Horatio, the banker, Cashman) to each other, not that new shareholders will be present.
