True or false? Philip was involved in Hannah's recruitment.
True or false? Philip was involved in Hannah's recruitment.
This is a true statement. Hannah says "I'm Hannah Benedict. The head of retail. You hired me, Philip." To "hire (someone)" is to recruit them, employ them, or engage their services (for a fee). This means that Philip was present during Hannah's hiring or recruitment process: he probably conducted at least one interview with her.
This is not a false statement.
