Definition
teenage: adolescent, aged between 13 and 19 years
a teenager, a teen: an adolescent, a young adult between the ages of 13 and 19
In English, only young people aged 13 to 19 are called "teenagers". This is because they have "teen" in their age: thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, etc!
