Definition
a unit: an item, one individual part (of something)
We have one unit in the shop, and 10 more in storage.
a unit of measurement is any quantity accepted as a standard measurement, for example centimeter, mile, kilogram, etc.
a (stereo) unit: a piece of equipment (for example to listen to music)
