Edward,

Here are some of my favorite interview questions - I hope you can read my writing!

Example: tell | yourself | a | little | about | me --> Tell me a little about yourself.

--> What is your greatest strength 1?

--> Where do you see yourself in five years' time 2?

--> Why should we hire you 3?

--> Do you have any further questions 4?
1 What is your greatest strength: Classic interview question! A STRENGTH is a positive quality that is seen as desirable. Example: My greatest STRENGTH is my engaging writing style. But what's the opposite of STRENGTH? That's your homework - they'll be a question on it tomorrow!
2 Where do you see yourself in five years' time: Tricky question, this one! In this context, "where do you see yourself (in five years' time)?" = "what do you think you'll be doing (in five years' time)?". Interviewers don't usually like it if you respond, "in prison".
3 Why should we hire you: To HIRE = engage the services of someone in return for payment. The question, "why should we hire you?", is an opportunity to say how your skills would be an asset to the organization (and not offer the interviewer money in exchange for giving you the job).
4 Do you have any further questions: FURTHER = ADDITIONAL. This question might be asked at the end of an interview, perhaps rephrased, "do you have any questions for me?". It's a good idea to have few questions prepared - if not you'll end up working in a fish factory.
