wisdom: "Wisdom" is often called common sense or good judgement, often because of experience or knowledge gained. The term "philosophy" means "lover of wisdom" (the Greek word for wisdom is "sophia"). In the audio, Susie asks Philip to give the children some "words of wisdom": she wants him to give them some pieces of advice that they can use in their life.

It is a useful "word-partnership" that appears a lot. In the letter, Bruno hopes that Warbuckle's "sales weren't too adversely affected", which means he hopes Warbuckle's sales didn't suffer too much.

Bruno really wants to say that Krazy Gidyeon is stupid!
3 pricing policy: A "policy" is a procedure or an approach. Therefore, a "pricing policy" is a company's strategy or plan or attitude to the prices they charge for their products. In the letter, Bruno reassures Warbuckle by writing "(Krazy Gidyeon's) pricing policy will respect our suggested list prices". This means that Gidyeon's approach to setting prices will conform to standard market practices.
