I'm 80 years young (synonym of I'm 80 years old) is a play on words used to highlight the fact that you feel younger than your age would suggest.

This statement is true. Icarus says to himself that today he is 'thirty-two years young'. In English, to state our age, we normally say 'I am (X) years OLD'. When Icarus says that he is 32 years YOUNG' he is using a common play on words which emphasizes that rather than becoming old, he is still young. '32 years young' and '32 years old' mean exactly the same thing. Icarus' statement is just a little joke!
