100 → cento

There are ten people.

We have eighty candidates.

Note: numbers in Italian (apart from 1) are invariable, meaning that they don't change to agree in gender or number:

Ci sono venti ragazze e venti ragazzi. 

There are twenty boys and twenty girls.

My grandma is a hundred (literally, “my grandma has a hundred years”).
