Additional uses of stressed pronouns

singulier
pluriel
1re personne chez moi chez nous
2e personne chez toi chez vous
3e personne chez lui / elle chez eux / elles
We’ve looked at the principal usages of the pronoms toniques (disjunctive or stressed pronouns) in a previous module. Here are some more ways they are used:

•  After certain prepositions (pour, de, chez, avec, sans, à, devant, derrière, à côté de, vers, loin de, près de, etc.):
Tu viens chez moi ce soir ? Are you coming to my place tonight?
J’ai un cadeau pour toi ! I have a present for you!
•  In comparative constructions such as plus... que (more than), moins... que (less than), aussi.. que (as... as):
Muriel est plus belle que moi. Muriel is prettier than me.
Victor est fort. Mais Marcel est plus fort que lui. Victor is strong. But Marcel is stronger than him.
