Indefinite articles (a, an)
The indefinite articles – un (a, an), une (a, an) and des (some) – are chosen according to the noun that comes after them.

Note: in the negative form, we replace un/une/des by de (or d’).
I have a car → I don't have a car.
I have some friends → I don't have any friends.
