tu t’assieds
il s’assied
nous nous asseyons
vous vous asseyez
ils s’asseyent
je m’assois
tu t’assois
il s’assoit
nous nous assoyons
vous vous assoyez
ils s’assoient

Je m’assieds pour lire mon journal. I’m sitting down to read my paper.
The two conjugations are accepted, but we use the first more frequently.
