The verbs sein (to be) and haben (to have) are irregular. This is how they are conjugated in the present tense:

haben
ich habe
du hast

Ich bin 32 Jahre alt.
I am 32 years old.
Anna ist Ärztin.
Anna is a doctor.
Ich habe Hunger.
I am hungry (literally "I have hunger").
