Le verbe croître au présent

The verb croître (to grow) is conjugated in the present tense in the following way. The same goes for its derivatives, décroître (to decrease), recroître(to regrow), and accroître (to increase).

Croître has a circumflex accent on the i for the je/tu/il forms (je cro_î_s, tu croîs, il croît; I grow, you grow, he grows), to keep it from being confused with the verb croire (to believe)(je crois, tu crois, il croit; I believe, you believe, he believes).
