Lequel ?

The pronoun lequel is used to ask for further information about something.
Victor, regarde ces jolies couleurs, laquelle tu préfères ? Victor, look at these pretty colours, which one do you prefer?
- Muriel, j’ai deux choses à te demander. - Ah oui, lesquelles ?

Note: You can’t say Laquelle couleur tu préfères ?, you should say Quelle couleur tu préfères ?

Lequel agrees with the noun it replaces.

Parmi ces acteurs, lequel préfères-tu ? Among these actors, which one do you prefer?
Quelles jolies photos ! Laquelle vas-tu m’envoyer ? What lovely photos! Which one will you send me?
- Marcel, tu as vu mes clefs ? – Lesquelles ? – Celles de la voiture. -Marcel, have you seen my keys? -Which ones? -The ones for the car.
