Tricky pronunciation rules: words containing the letters g or c

The letter g is pronounced differently when placed in front of a, o, u and e,i.

Devant a, o et ugu comme dans gare.  In front of a, o and u → 'g' like in gare station. 
Devant i et eje comme dans nial.  In front of i and e → 'j' like in nial great.

The letter c is pronounced differently in front of a, o, u and e,i.

Devant a, o, et uk comme dans cadeau.  In front of a, o, and u → 'k' like in cadeau present, gift.
Devant i et es comme dans cigarette. In front of i and e → 's' like in cigarette cigarette. 

Note: We use a ç to make the 's' sound like in ça va ? How are you?
