Verbs that end in -er in the infinitive, such as aimer (to like/love), arriver (to arrive), demander (to ask), travailler (to work), trouver (to find), etc. are conjugated like this:

The present tense is used to talk about ongoing actions, habits or generalities.

Notes:

  • The letters -e, -es and -ent at the end of these verb forms are not pronounced at all.
  • -ons is pronounced and -ez is pronounced .
