The verbs vivre and suivre in the present tense

The verbs suivre (to follow) and vivre (to live) are conjugated as follows in the present tense:

Derivatives of these verbs, such as poursuivre (to chase, to pursue), survivre (to survive) and revivre (to be revived, to come alive again), follow the same conjugation pattern.

Note: Je suis is the first person singular form of the verb être (to be) être, présent and also of the verb suivre (to follow) suivre, présent.
