What is an advertising campaign?
A "campaign" is not a champagne!
A "warning" is different than an "advertisement". A "warning" is the act of making someone aware of an actual or potential danger, whereas an "advertisement" is a piece of publicity.
An "advertising campaign" is the effort or process of promoting a product. Companies often invest in an advertising campaign to promote a new product to the public.

Let's find some interesting terms used in the dialogue. Fill in the blanks!

First, find the term which means to be "accountable for" or "in charge of" something: "Philip Cheeter is responsible 1 for managing the Delavigne Sales Department."

Now we're looking for the term meaning "operation" or "project", with a specific objective: "The O'Clinton presidential campaign 2 has been very successful but very expensive."
1 responsible : "Responsible" is the right answer here. To be "responsible for" something is to be "accountable for" or "in charge of" it. Some more examples: "Who is responsible for the water all over the bathroom?" (= "Who caused the mess?"); "I am responsible for hiring a new intern". Note that the term "responsible" is an adjective, and NEVER a noun.
2 campaign: "Campaign" is the correct term here. A "campaign" is an "operation" or "series of operations" leading towards a specific goal or target. We often talk of "advertising campaigns" to describe the strategy of a series of advertisements for a product. Note that this term can also be used in a military context: "The British army's campaign was a disaster".

This statement is false. Hannah says, "I've seen your adverts in the streetcars" to indicate she has heard of YouBeauty.com, but there is no suggestion of Caroline selling advertising space. Hannah thinks that Caroline wants to sell Delavigne products on YouBeauty.com's website.
This statement is correct. Caroline tells Hannah that she works as "the head buyer for YouBeauty.com." A "buyer" is the person responsible for purchasing (for the company) and who often negotiates to get the best price for their company. A "head buyer" is the principal buyer or the manager of the purchasing team.
This statement is correct. Hannah refers to YouBeauty.com as an "online distributor". This refers to a website which supplies or sells products via the internet.
This statement is false. Hannah tells Caroline that she has already heard of YouBeauty.com but doesn't say that Delavigne Corp has already collaborated with YouBeauty.com.
This statement is correct. Hannah says that she has seen YouBeauty.com's "adverts in the streetcars", and that she finds them "nauseating". "Nauseating" shares a similar meaning to "revolting" or "disgusting". An "advertising campaign" refers to a series of advertisements (media promotions) for a product.

1 advertising: "Advertising" refers to the promotion of goods or services in media, such as radio, television, newspapers or those irritating pop-ups on websites.
2 campaign: An "advertising campaign" is an effort, often paid, to promote a product or service. Companies often invest in an advertising campaign, sometimes with advertising firms, to promote new products and services to the public. On its own, a "campaign" describes the push or effort itself.
