Simple future: irregular verbs
Let's review: to form the regular conjugation of the simple future, we add the endings -é, -ás, -á, -emos, -éis and -án to the infinitive of the verb:
Este año iré a Guatemala.
This year I will go to Guatemala.
Mañana cenaremos en tu casa.
Tomorrow we will have dinner at your house.
There are two verbs that keep the regular endings but change their stem:
Tú harás
Él/ella/usted hará
Nosotros/as haremos
Vosotros/as haréis
Ellos/ellas/ustedes harán
Tú dirás
Él/ella/usted dirá
Nosotros/as diremos
Vosotros/as diréis
Ellos/ellas/ustedes dirán
Teo hará sus maletas mañana. hacer, futuro
Teo will pack his bags tomorrow.
No te diremos nada. decir, futuro
We won't tell you anything.
