You can replace the accusative object with a personal pronoun.

Ich sehe den Mann. Ich sehe ihn.

I see the man. I see him.

Du magst das Bier. Du magst es.

You like the beer. You like it.

Dr. Meyer liebt Betty. Dr. Meyer liebt sie.

Dr. Meyer loves Betty Dr. Meyer loves her.

Here are the personal pronouns in the accusative case:
