Les verbes en -er à l’impératif

For first group verbs (ending in -er), remove the final -s in the second person singular. Aller (to go) follows the same rule.
manger en
Mange
Mangeons
Mangez
écouter en
Écoute
Écoutons
Écoutez
aller en
Va
Allons
Allez
Appelle ta mère ! Call your mother!
Note: When using the pronouns en or y with the imperative in the second person, keep the final -s to make a liaison.
Parle moins fort ! Parles-en à Victor ! Speak less loudly! Speak to Victor about it!
Pense à mon argent ! Penses-y ! Think about my money Think about it!
