Les articles indéfinis
The three types of indefinite articles un, une, des (= ‘a, an, some’) depend on the gender and number of the noun that follows.

|---|---|---|
| ♂ | UN | un garçon, un vélo a boy, a bicycle |
| ♀ | UNE | une voiture a car |
| ♂♂♀♀ | DES | des enfants, des chaises (some) children, (some) chairs |
