Demonstrative adverbs: aquí, ahí, allí (here, there, over there)

Demonstrative adverbs are used to indicate the distance of something from the speaker. There are three degrees of distance:

  • Here (close) → Aquí or acá
  • There (neither close nor far) → Ahí
  • Over there (far) → Allí
