Negative sentences

To construct a negative sentence, add a no before the verb or pronoun: (subject) + no + (pronoun) + verb + object

Tengo dinero → No tengo dinero.

I have money → I don’t have money.

Teo ha ido al cine esta tarde → Teo no ha ido al cine esta tarde

Teo went to the movies this afternoon → Teo didn't go to the movies this afternoon.

Note: when there is a pronoun in the sentence (se, la, lo, le, me, etc.), place the no just before it.

He likes beer → He doesn't like beer.
