Se: subjectless sentences
With se we can build sentences in which we don't say who performs the action.
En Espa帽a se cena muy tarde.
In Spain they eat very late.
Se reparan bicicletas.
Bicycles repaired.
Se dice que el amor es ciego.
They say that love is blind.
Structure: se + verb in 3rd person singular or plural, depending on the relevant noun.
Se busca camarero.
Waiter sought.
Se buscan camareros.
Waiters sought.
Note: before a, the verb is always singular.
Se entrevist贸 a la candidata.
The candidate was interviewed.
Se entrevist贸 a las candidatas.
The candidates were interviewed.
